Miss Trinidad and Tobago, Anna-Lise Nanton, showcased an impressive performance at the Miss World Sports Challenge held in Hyderabad, India, on Friday, securing fourth place overall out of 108 international contestants. A passionate advocate for sports and fitness, Nanton was one of the top eight delegates from the Americas and Caribbean region to progress past the preliminary beep test. The top 32 participants, with eight representatives from each continental group, then competed in badminton, shot put, and shuttle runs.
Nanton excelled in the shuttle run event, leading the competition and becoming the first participant to finish the cone stack in under 60 seconds. Despite her outstanding performance, she fell just short of the podium, finishing behind third-place Canada, while Estonia claimed first place and Martinique secured second. In a social media post after the event, Nanton shared her pride in her achievement and congratulated the winners, particularly her roommate, Miss Martinique.
