The event, hosted by the "From Belt to Belt" Foundation, attracted around 600 attendees, including representatives from the diaspora of Turkic-speaking peoples and embassy staff accredited in the Netherlands. The Azerbaijan-Netherlands "Odlar Yurdu" Society was among the Turkic-speaking organizations invited to participate.
In her speech, Frangiz Baghirova, the chairman of the society, expressed her appreciation to the "From Belt to Belt" foundation and presented its chairman, Fehmi Bey, with a book about Azerbaijan. Following this, singer Nahmetaga Aliyev performed the song "Shushan Mountains," and the poem "Mother Tongue" by Bakhtiyar Vahabzade was recited.
The audience warmly applauded the performance of "O Motherland" by Nahmetaga Aliyev and Frangiz Bagirova. In recognition of her contributions to the holiday celebration, the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey presented a commemorative gift to Frangiz Bagirova, who is the chairman of the Azerbaijan-Netherlands "Odlar Yurdu" Society.
