Kuwait and India talk about improving cooperation in civil aviation

The Kuwait Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), led by President Sheikh Humoud Mubarak Humoud Al-Sabah, met with Indian civil aviation authorities, headed by Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation Samir Kumar, on Tuesday in New Delhi. The DGCA president informed KUNA that the meeting aimed to enhance bilateral cooperation in aviation and took place in a cordial atmosphere reflecting the collaborative spirit between the two parties.
During the discussions, both sides acknowledged the historical ties between their countries, exchanged perspectives and technical know-how in civil aviation, and reviewed the latest air transport market developments. They also assessed efforts to advance the civil aviation sector in line with passenger expectations and future needs.

Kuwaiti Ambassador to India Mishal Mustafa Al-Shemali, Chairman of Kuwait Airways Abdulmohsen Al-Faqan, Chairman of Jazeera Airways Marwan Boodai, a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a technical team from the DGCA were present at the talks. The meeting concluded with the signing of a new memorandum of understanding aimed at serving the air transport market in both nations.
