Judge Meylin Jaén ruled that the arrest of Jaime Caballero, the leader of Suntracs, is legal and valid. Caballero is set to face charges related to alleged crimes against the economic order, specifically concerning a money laundering case. The prosecutor overseeing the case is Emeldo Márquez, who previously managed the New Business corruption case. Caballero was apprehended in Chiriquí province during protests on May 12.
