Dubai has unveiled the world's largest visa application facility, which can process up to 10,000 visa applications each day. VFS Global inaugurated its flagship Visa Application Centre in Wafi City, establishing this record-breaking facility. Spanning nearly 150,000 square feet, the center boasts the highest capacity of any single location, supported by a skilled and diverse team of over 400 trained professionals from more than 25 different nationalities.
Helal Saeed Almarri, Director-General of the Department of Economy and Tourism, stated regarding the Dubai visa application center: “This milestone represents more than just an infrastructure achievement; it embodies Dubai's strategic vision to enhance global mobility, broaden access to opportunities, and stimulate growth in our visitor and business sectors. As we work towards the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, ensuring seamless access to and from Dubai remains a top priority. Facilitating visas is crucial for attracting talent, developing tourism, and fostering international partnerships—key components of our strategy to establish Dubai as the world’s most connected and future-ready city.”
