Aram Hovhannisyan has been removed from his position as Chief of police and Deputy Interior Minister of Armenia. He has also been dismissed from police service.
The decision was signed by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Monday. Hovhannisyan had been appointed to these roles on January 9, 2023.
