According to a source within the Ansar Allah rebel movement, Israel conducted a series of strikes on one of the largest power plants in the metropolitan province of Sanaa, as well as a cement plant in the province of Amran.
According to Al Yemen television, the international airport in Sanaa, Yemen's capital, was completely destroyed by airstrikes from the Israeli Air Force.
The Israeli fighter jets devastated the main passenger terminal and all technical facilities, resulting in the destruction of all civilian aircraft at the airport, the report stated.
Additionally, Israel launched a series of attacks on one of the largest power plants in the Sanaa metropolitan area and a cement plant in Amran province, as reported by a source from the Ansar Allah rebel movement to TASS. "The Israeli jets carried out over ten strikes on these facilities," the source added.
Six Aircraft Destroyed in Israeli Strike on Sanaa Airport, Says Director General
Khaled Al-Shayef, the Director General of Sanaa International Airport, reported that at least six aircraft were damaged in an Israeli air force attack on the airport, which is under the control of Houthi rebels from Yemen's Ansar Allah movement.
"The enemy launched an attack that completely destroyed six planes, three of which were Yemeni," he stated during an interview with Al Masirah TV. He added that Yemenia Airways has "lost three planes and now has only one remaining in Amman."
The Israeli air force conducted a significant strike on Yemen on Tuesday in response to Houthi shelling of Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, with Sanaa International Airport being the main target. The attack also affected several electric power stations in the capital region and a cement factory in Amran Province.
