After their wedding on June 27 and a lavish celebration, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, 61, and his wife, Lauren Sanchez, 55, left their hotel to visit Harry’s Bar in Venice, Italy, renowned as the birthplace of the Bellini. The bar was closed for their visit, allowing the couple and their friends Usher and Tommy Hilfiger to enjoy lunch, according to Page Six.
For their outing, the couple opted for casual attire. Jeff looked polished in sunglasses and a light brown T-shirt, waving to photographers. Meanwhile, Lauren complemented her black off-the-shoulder dress with a cream-coloured purse and a wide-brimmed hat, also wearing sunglasses as they boarded a water taxi.
"Harry's does not have a water taxi drop-off, so they had to be dropped off at the hotel across the street and make their way over," a source told Page Six. The establishment is famous, having hosted everyone from Ernest Hemingway to George Clooney.

As for the situation at Harry's Bar, it was once again bustling around 9 PM local time. However, restaurant staff remained tight-lipped about the couple, according to the report. The owner, Arrigo Cipriani, previously stated to the local newspaper Corriere della Sera that Bezos is “a private individual who has come here to get married. I don’t see any issue with that. Venice is Venice, and this event won’t change anything.”
The police enhanced security by increasing their presence around popular party locations. The couple took over the luxury hotels Aman and Gritti Palace, leading to the temporary closure of a bar. Guests who had booked rooms at the Aman hotel months in advance were displaced when the couple and their celebrity friends arrived. According to reports, Aman provided alternative accommodations for these guests at the St. Regis and covered the expenses for their stay.
Matteo Bocelli, son of Andrea Bocelli, and pop sensation Ellie Goulding entertained guests that included Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Barry Diller, Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld, and Huma Abedin. A source described the event as “a fairytale—warm, intimate, and filled with love.”
